On Saturday, 21 March 2026, Ahorn Sport- und Freizeit-Club Paderborn e. V. (ASC), together with Diakonie Paderborn-Höxter e. V., will be offering an exciting sports programme at the Ahorn-Sportpark from 3.00 pm to 5.30 pm. The free event is taking place as part of the Woche gegen Rassismus (Anti-Racism Week) and is aimed at children aged four to seven and their families.

The story of the Vier-Farben-Land (Four-Colour-Land), based on the book of the same name by Gina Ruck-Pauquèt, will be brought to life through play. While the people of each colour live strictly separated from all the others, a boy named Erbs one day decides to blur the boundaries and live together with people of every colour because “life is much more beautiful in colour”.

“We have incorporated the themes of the story into a varied sports programme, allowing the children to explore them through play. Different activities such as jumping, throwing and sliding give the children the opportunity to discover the Vier-Farben-Land for themselves and, during a final activity together, symbolically make the boundaries disappear,” explains Annika Krause from ASC.

Childcare is available for younger siblings aged zero to three. Parents are welcome to accompany their children through the Vier-Farben-Land.

Registration is possible by email with Melina Görken at . The number of participants is limited.
