The new course replaces an existing piece of play equipment and brings fresh energy to the outdoor area. A range of obstacles put strength, agility, balance and coordination to the test. One special feature is the timing system. Anyone who wants to can complete the entire course against the clock. With every timed run offering a new challenge, participants can try to beat their personal best or compete with family and friends. It soon becomes clear: watching is interesting, but having a go yourself makes all the difference.

“With the new obstacle course, we are taking a targeted approach to developing our range of activities. We want to create new incentives to get active and offer opportunities for movement that spark curiosity and remain exciting even after the first run,” says Ralf Pahlsmeier (Managing Director, Ahorn-Sportpark gGmbH).

The course is deliberately designed for more than just one age group. Children can discover new ways to move through play, teenagers can test their abilities, and adults can find out whether they can keep up with the younger generation. A spontaneous run can quickly turn into a friendly challenge with family or friends.
