Sterne erfüllen Wünsche – Wishing Stars at Ahorn-Sportpark

A large green wish tree in the entrance area of the Ahorn-Sportpark is decorated with numerous golden stars. Each star carries a Christmas wish from a child in need as part of the Deutsches Rotes Kreuz's JRK-Weihnachtsaktion 2026. A poster next to the tree provides information about the “Sterne erfüllen Wünsche” campaign.

Making a difference together and making children's Christmas wishes come true!

This year, Ahorn-Sportpark is taking part in the German Red Cross (DRK) Christmas campaign “Sterne erfüllen Wünsche” for the first time. We want to show the power of community spirit and help bring a little extra joy to children affected by poverty this Christmas.

Our Christmas tree at reception is now decorated with numerous wishing stars. Each star represents a child's Christmas wish, waiting to be fulfilled.

Taking part is easy:

  1. Choose a wishing star: Pick a star from our Christmas tree at reception and take it with you.

  2. Buy a gift: Fulfil the child's wish with a gift worth around €20 to €30.

  3. Wrap the gift: Wrap your present with care in festive wrapping paper.

  4. Spread some Christmas joy: Drop off your wrapped gift by 28 November 2026 at the latest, either at Ahorn-Sportpark reception or directly at DRK-Kreisverband Paderborn (Neuhäuser Straße 62–64, Paderborn).

Important note: For clothing and shoes, please include the receipt or attach it to the wishing star so that the item can be exchanged if necessary.

Together, we can make a real difference!
